Who We Are

Let me start by assuring you that we, at Cheryl Chapman Photography, know that this will be one of the most important days of your life and promise not to take the responsibility of capturing your day lightly. I pride myself on making a unique album where your personalities and emotions of the day are captured in their entirety.

My husband and I studied Photography at Kingston College of Art and Design for 4 years and we both passed with distinctions.


Cheryl Chapman Photography has a team of 5 qualified and experienced photographers available, but typically for weddings with less than 100 guests, then there will be two of us and for weddings with over 100 guests there will be 3 photographers, but this is a topic for further discussion and is dependant on your needs.

Although the arguments rage on as to which is best; digital or film?, we work mainly in film; 35mm and medium format, colour and black & white. We believe that film translates itself best to the array of moods and emotions that we are trying to capture and also because we feel that the quality and durability of the finished print has not yet been equalled. However, we do also use digital because the versatility and the options this medium offers cannot be ignored.
